Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Understand customer needs in the promotional products space and offer solutions and support.
- Organize and coordinate sales presentations.
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop strategies for generating new business.
- Negotiate sales contracts and close deals to meet sales quotas.
- Attend networking events, industry trade shows, conferences, and meetings to promote our products & services.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior sales experience in an industrial/commercial environment preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to present effective proposals.
- Office-suite computer software skills are necessary. Illustration software skills a plus.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
- Demonstrate a high level of confidence, motivation, and the ability to seek new sales opportunities on a daily basis. Must be a self-starter and able to work with enthusiasm and minimal supervision.
Experience
- Experience in the promotional products industry or a related field, such as marketing, advertising, or branding.
- Experience in identifying potential sales opportunities.
- Sr. level position
- 2 years outside sales in the promotional products industry
- Entry level position
- 1 year experience in outside sales and/or marketing or equivalent
